Latest Jockey Club Vouchers & Jockey Club Discount Codes UK, October, 2026

The Jockey Club was established in 1750 and is one of the oldest and largest organisations in British horseracing, though it no longer regulates the sport, that responsibility transferred to what is now the British Horseracing Authority in 2006. Today it operates as the largest commercial group in the industry, owning 15 racecourses across the UK, including Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom Downs, and both racecourses at Newmarket, alongside Jockey Club Estates, which manages roughly 5,000 acres of training grounds and a wider property portfolio including the historic Jockey Club Rooms. The wider Jockey Club Group also includes The National Stud, the breeding and bloodstock arm transferred to the organisation in 2008, and Racing Welfare, a registered charity supporting people working across the racing industry. Because The Jockey Club is governed by Royal Charter, it operates on a not-for-profit basis, meaning all proceeds from ticket sales, hospitality, and its commercial activities are reinvested directly back into British racing rather than distributed as shareholder profit, a structure that genuinely shapes why so much of its saving potential sits in standing membership schemes like RacePass and Rewards4Racing rather than one-off discount codes alone.

RacePass: Half-Price Tickets for 18-24s, Not a Discount Code

The single biggest saving many young racegoers miss entirely: The Jockey Club runs RacePass, a free-to-join membership for anyone aged 18 to 24, unlocking 50% off admission tickets across all of the group's racecourses, including major fixtures at Cheltenham and Aintree. Because it's a membership rather than a Jockey Club promo code, you sign up once with proof of age and the discount applies automatically on future bookings rather than needing a fresh code every time. If you're specifically hunting a promo code Jockey Club as a younger racegoer, checking whether you already qualify for RacePass first is usually the bigger saving.

Under 18s Go Free, Except for One Big Exception

The Jockey Club offers free entry to under-18s at its racecourses year-round, when accompanied by a paying adult, across most fixtures and enclosures. The exception worth knowing before you plan a family trip: at the Cheltenham Festival specifically, under-18s do not get free entry, unlike the group's standard policy elsewhere. If you're checking Cheltenham racecourse tickets or Cheltenham races tickets for a family visit, it's worth confirming whether your chosen fixture is a standard raceday or Festival week before assuming the usual free-child policy applies.

Rewards4Racing: A Separate Points Scheme, Not a One-Time Voucher

Distinct from any Jockey Club voucher or The Jockey Club vouchers you might redeem at checkout, The Jockey Club also runs Rewards4Racing, a free-to-join points programme with thousands of partner brands. Points build up through online shopping, betting, and racecourse ticket purchases, and can later be exchanged for tickets or hospitality upgrades rather than a fixed cash-off amount. Because it accumulates over time rather than applying instantly, it rewards regular racegoers more than someone buying a single ticket, worth setting up before your first booking rather than after.

The Jockey Club Gift Card: One Card, All 15 Racecourses

If you're after a general Jockey Club discount codes alternative to give as a present, The Jockey Club sells its own gift card, redeemable for tickets and hospitality at any of its 15 racecourses nationwide, from Cheltenham and Aintree to smaller regional tracks. It's a practical option if the recipient's exact racecourse preference isn't fixed, since it isn't restricted to a single venue the way a single-track discount often is.

Cheltenham: Tickets, the Festival, and What's Actually Bookable

Whether you're after Cheltenham racecourse tickets or tickets for Cheltenham races, Cheltenham Racecourse runs both its marquee Festival week and a wider calendar of standard racedays throughout the year, and ticket pricing, availability, and concessions genuinely differ between the two. The same applies whether your search was Cheltenham tickets the Jockey Club or Jockey Club cheltenham tickets, both point to the same booking system. General searches for Cheltenham racecourse races or simply The Jockey.Club Cheltenham usually turn up both event types together, so it's worth checking whether the specific date you want falls inside Festival week before assuming standard-raceday pricing applies. And whether you phrased it as The Jockey Club Cheltenham or Jockey Club Cheltenham, you're looking at the same venue and the same booking process, and Cheltenham Jockey Club as a search points there too.

Aintree and Newmarket: The Other Two Flagship Racecourses

Beyond Cheltenham, The Jockey Club owns Aintree, home of the Grand National, and Newmarket, widely considered the historic home of British Flat racing and host to the Rowley Mile and July Course. If you're searching aintree racecourse or aintree race course, both point to the same Merseyside venue. The same goes for The Jockey Club Aintree and Aintree Jockey Club as search phrasings. Jockey Club Aintree leads to the same place too, all describing that one track rather than several different options. That's useful to know since Liverpool racecourses and racecourses in Liverpool searches are really asking about this single venue rather than multiple tracks in the city. Anyone specifically checking Aintree UK for the racecourse's general location will find it too. The same goes for anyone looking up Aintree races dates for the coming season, or simply searching aintree horse racing generally, all of it sits under the same Aintree Racecourse listing.

For Newmarket, whether you searched The Jockey Club Newmarket or Newmarket The Jockey Club, you're looking at the same racecourse group, distinct from the separately named Jockey Club Rooms covered below. The same applies to Newmarket Jockey Club and Jockey Club Newmarket as search phrasings. If your interest is more general, searches like Newmarket horse racing or Newmarket horses typically lead back to the same racecourse too, since Newmarket's identity as a track is built entirely around its status as the traditional centre of British Thoroughbred racing.

Jockey Club Rooms Newmarket: A Historic Clubhouse, Not the Racecourse Itself

Here's a distinction a lot of general racecourse guides skip: The Jockey Club rooms Newmarket, Jockey Club rooms Newmarket, and Newmarket Jockey Club rooms all refer to a specific historic building, part of Jockey Club Estates' wider property portfolio, rather than the racecourse's public racedays. If your search was really about attending a raceday, jockey rooms newmarket as a search is more likely pointing at Newmarket Racecourse itself, while the Rooms is a separate, more exclusive property within the same wider Jockey Club Group.

Jockey Club Live: Concerts on Racecourse Grounds

Separate from ticketed racing entirely, Jockey Club live refers to the group's live music series, hosting concerts at several of its racecourses after a day's racing, with past headline acts including major touring artists. If you're searching Jockey Club events or Jockey Club races more broadly, it's worth knowing not every ticketed event at a Jockey Club venue is actually a raceday, some are music nights with a completely different ticket type and pricing structure.

Haydock and Other Regional Racecourses

Beyond the three flagship tracks, The Jockey Club also owns regional racecourses including Haydock Park, and a Haydock Races discount code works through the same general voucher system covered below, applied at checkout on Haydock's own ticket pages rather than a separate portal. General searches like Jockey Club racecourses and Jockey Club tickets cover this wider network of 15 tracks, not just the three most searched-for names. The jockey club tickets as a phrase points to the same wider ticketing system too.

How to Apply a Jockey Club Discount, Step by Step

• Check whether you're aged 18-24 and eligible for RacePass before assuming you need a separate discount code
• Confirm whether your chosen date is a standard raceday or Festival week, since under-18 entry and concessions can differ
• Sign up for Rewards4Racing in advance if you attend races regularly, so points start building from your very next booking
• Choose your racecourse and event type first, standard raceday, Festival, or a Jockey Club Live music night, since pricing structures differ
• Enter your current The Jockey Club promo code at checkout and confirm the discount applies before completing payment
• If buying as a gift, consider The Jockey Club Gift Card instead of a single-racecourse ticket if the recipient's preference isn't fixed

The Jockey Club Discount Codes | Cheltenham, Aintree & Newmarket Tickets

The Jockey Club isn't a single racecourse, it's the largest commercial group in British horseracing, owning 15 racecourses across the UK including Cheltenham, Aintree, and Newmarket, and structured as a not-for-profit under Royal Charter, meaning every pound of profit gets reinvested back into the sport rather than paid out to shareholders. That structure genuinely shapes how discounts work here too: several of the biggest savings aren't a The Jockey Club discount code at all, they're standing schemes like a free 18-24 membership offering half-price tickets, a separate rewards points programme, and an under-18s policy with one notable exception worth knowing before you book. This page works through all of that, plus the specific ticket routes for Cheltenham, Aintree, and Newmarket.
