Valid Movich Hotels Discount Code & Movich Hotels Voucher Code UK - October, 2026

Most UK travellers who plan a trip to Colombia start with the same list: a few days in a historic walled city on the Caribbean coast, a stretch in the mountains, a night or two in the capital and enough time to enjoy the food without rushing. The hotel you choose shapes all of it, because after a long journey from Britain the right bed in the right neighbourhood matters more than any itinerary. MOVICH HOTELS is a Colombian hotel group with properties in cities such as Bogotá, Cartagena, Medellín, Rionegro, Pereira, Barranquilla and Cali. This guide is written for UK travellers who want to understand where each hotel fits, how to book direct and what to check so the trip runs smoothly from the airport to the last breakfast.

Quick answer: To pay less at MOVICH HOTELS from the UK, book on the official site, use the promo code field at the booking step if you have a current code, compare the hotel's rate options, check the promotions page and look for vouchers on this page before you confirm. At the time of writing, the official site describes exclusive benefits at the best price for direct bookings and offers special rate fields for promotional, group and corporate bookings. Terms can change, so always confirm on the booking page.

What is MOVICH HOTELS and what does it offer?

MOVICH HOTELS is a Colombian hotel brand that describes itself on the official site as offering comfort, luxury, prime locations and exclusive benefits at the best price. The site is available in Spanish by default, with an English version available from the language link, which is helpful for UK visitors planning in advance.

The hotels at a glance

According to the official English page, the group's hotels and their listed features include:

• InterContinental Movich Medellín: swimming pool, restaurants and parking.
• Movich Cartagena de Indias: a rooftop with 360-degree views, an infinity-style pool and a restaurant.
• Movich Buró 26 (Bogotá): a sauna and jacuzzi, a restaurant and parking.
• Movich Las Lomas (Rionegro): a swimming pool, restaurants and parking.
• Movich Pereira: a swimming pool, restaurants and parking.

Not every hotel appears in the booking selector, so if you cannot find a hotel there, check the hotels section of the site or contact the reservations team.

Related services

The official site also mentions event and wedding spaces in several cities, a gastronomy section, a spa, city tourism and brand experiences such as Movich Cycling and Movich Wingbeats. Read the details on the site to see which services apply to your hotel.

Who it suits

• Travellers planning a first trip to Colombia who want a reliable base in each city.
• Couples looking for a boutique-style stay in Cartagena's old town.
• Business travellers needing meeting rooms and a convenient location in Bogotá.
• Families or groups who want facilities such as a pool and parking.
• Anyone who prefers booking directly with the hotel group.

MOVICH HOTELS by city: choosing where to stay

Colombia is large, and each city has its own character. Instead of choosing only by price, think about what you want from each stop.

Bogotá: the capital and the gateway

Movich Buró 26 is on Avenida El Dorado, which the official page describes as very close to El Dorado International Airport. That makes it a practical first or last night for travellers arriving or leaving by air. The page lists a gym, business and event facilities and a spa, plus two dining venues: a restaurant open daily from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and a bar open daily from midday to 9:00 pm. Nearby attractions listed on the page include Monserrate Hill, Bolívar Square, La Candelaria, the Gold Museum and the Ciclovía.

A practical note: Bogotá sits high in the Andes, so many visitors take it easy on the first day, drink plenty of water and avoid heavy meals and alcohol until they adjust. If you have health concerns, speak to your doctor before you travel.

Cartagena de Indias: walled-city romance

The Movich Cartagena de Indias hotel sits in the old town. A listing on a hotel partner site describes 32 rooms over five floors, with room types including Superior, Luxury King, Premium King and Bayside Suite, some with balconies over the old town or the sea. Facilities mentioned include a rooftop infinity pool and terrace, a sky bar, a restaurant, a wellness centre and free Wi-Fi. The same listing gives check-in at 15:00 and check-out at 13:00 and states that pets are not permitted. Because details can change, confirm them on the official booking page.

This is the choice for couples and travellers who want to walk the old town's streets in the evening and return to a quiet rooftop.

Medellín: the city of eternal spring

InterContinental Movich Medellín lists a pool, restaurants and parking on the official page. The site notes that bookings for this hotel are completed on the official site of an international hotel group, so expect to be redirected at the final step. Dining options listed for the hotel include an Italian restaurant and a venue serving dishes cooked in stone or wood-fired ovens by the pool.

Rionegro and the Medellín region

Movich Las Lomas is in Rionegro, which is convenient for travellers who prefer to stay near the airport that serves Medellín. The official page lists a pool, restaurants and parking, and the gastronomy page mentions a restaurant with local and international cuisine and another with a wood-fired oven tradition.

Pereira: coffee region base

Movich Pereira appears in the official hotels section with a pool, restaurants and parking. It is a good starting point if you plan to explore Colombia's coffee region.

Barranquilla: the Caribbean coast city

Movich Buró 51 lists a pool, a restaurant and parking, and its restaurant is described as using regional ingredients with international techniques. It suits business travellers and visitors who want to see a less touristy side of the coast.

Cali: music, food and the Pacific influence

Movich Casa del Alférez lists a concierge, restaurants and parking. The gastronomy page describes its restaurant as serving Colombian Pacific cuisine with international techniques.

How to decide quickly

1. Arriving by air and want an easy first night? Look at the Bogotá hotel near the airport.
2. Want atmosphere and walkable streets? Look at Cartagena.
3. Planning a mix of city and countryside? Compare Rionegro, Pereira and Medellín.
4. Travelling for work? Check meeting facilities and parking.

Planning a Colombia trip from the UK

A little preparation makes the trip smoother.

Travel advice and entry requirements

Check the UK government's foreign travel advice for Colombia before you book, and confirm the entry requirements for your passport. Rules can change, so look at the official pages close to your travel date.

Health

Check the NHS travel health pages or your GP for advice on vaccinations and health precautions well before you travel. Ask your doctor if you have any conditions that may be affected by altitude or climate.

Time difference

Colombia does not change its clocks, so the time difference with the UK is five hours in winter and six hours in summer when the UK moves to British Summer Time. Plan your first day with jet lag in mind.

Insurance

Take out travel insurance that covers your activities and medical care abroad, and keep the policy details on your phone.

Money

Check the currency shown on the booking page, since it is not stated on the homepage, and consider a card with low foreign transaction fees. Keep a small amount of local cash for small purchases.

Language

Spanish is the default language on the website, with an English option. In hotels, staff in main cities often speak English, but learning a few Spanish phrases goes a long way.

How MOVICH HOTELS booking works, step by step

Booking is simple, and a few careful choices make it cheaper and easier to change later.

1. Open the official site through the link on this page and choose English if you prefer.
2. Select your hotel, dates and number of guests.
3. Enter a promotional code in the special rate field if you have one.
4. Compare the room types and rates shown.
5. Read the cancellation and payment terms.
6. Enter your details and pay.
7. Keep your confirmation email.

The special rate field

The booking form offers fields for promotional, group and corporate rates, plus a code. If you are using a voucher code from this page, choose the promotional option and enter it before you search.

Medellín bookings

The official site says Medellín reservations are completed on an international hotel group's website. Check the final price and terms there before you pay.

Check the final price

Look at the total, including taxes and any extras, and make sure it matches the room, dates and number of guests. If a price looks unusually low, read the conditions carefully before you pay.

How to use a MOVICH HOTELS voucher code

A code takes a minute to apply, but the details decide whether it works.

1. Open the official site and choose your hotel and dates.
2. Open the special rate or promo code field.
3. Select the promotional option and enter the code.
4. Search and check that the rate reflects the offer.
5. Read the conditions and complete the booking.
6. Keep your confirmation.

What to check if a code does not work

• Eligible hotels. Codes may apply to specific hotels or cities.
• Stay dates. Many codes have blackout dates or a set stay window.
• Booking dates. Some codes work only if you book within a certain period.
• Rate type. A code may apply only to certain rates.
• Expiry date. An old code may have ended.
• Copy and paste. It avoids typing mistakes.

Food, drink and experiences at MOVICH HOTELS

Dining is a big part of a hotel stay in Colombia, and the official gastronomy page lists restaurants across the group.

Examples from the official page

• A restaurant in Bogotá offering buffet breakfast, themed buffet and à la carte dishes.
• A restaurant in Cartagena with Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisine.
• Italian dishes at the Medellín hotel, including pastas, risottos and an antipasti bar.
• A wood-fired oven venue by the pool in Medellín.
• Colombian Pacific cuisine at the Cali hotel.
• A restaurant in Rionegro with a gourmet, artisanal wood-fired tradition that also offers delivery in several cities.

Tips for enjoying local food

• Ask the staff for local dishes and regional specialities.
• Check opening times, because some venues close earlier than UK visitors expect.
• Mention allergies or dietary needs when you book or order.
• Try breakfast, which is often a highlight.

Contact and support

The official site lists a reservations email, a phone number and a WhatsApp number: reservas@movichhotels.com, +57 (601) 4824466 and +57 316 289 3777. Requests, complaints and claims can also be submitted through the official online system. Use only contact details published on the official website, and remember that calls and messages to Colombia may cost more from the UK, so email or WhatsApp can be easier.

Tips for a faster reply

• Have your booking details ready.
• Describe your question clearly in one message.
• Include the hotel name, dates and the number of guests.
• Allow for the time difference when you call.

Stay safe

Be careful with unexpected messages that ask for payment details or one-time codes. If something looks suspicious, leave the page and contact the official channels.

Payment, check-in and practical details

Payment

The homepage does not list payment methods, so check the payment options on the booking page. Make sure your card has enough limit, and keep your confirmation email and a screenshot of the final total.

Check-in and check-out

Times can differ by hotel. A hotel partner listing for the Cartagena property gives check-in at 15:00 and check-out at 13:00, while the Bogotá page does not list times. Confirm the times for your hotel before you travel, especially if you arrive on an overnight flight and need an early check-in.

Parking and facilities

Several hotels list parking and pools, and some mention a gym, spa or sauna. Check your hotel page and confirm anything important with the reservations team.

The best times to look for MOVICH HOTELS offers

You cannot predict an offer, but travel follows patterns.

UK winter and school holidays

Many UK travellers look for a break from the British winter, and demand rises around Christmas, New Year and school holidays. Book early for those periods.

Colombian holidays and festivals

Local public holidays and festivals can raise demand in popular cities. Check the dates for your trip and book early if your visit overlaps.

Shoulder seasons

Weeks outside the busiest periods often have better rates and fewer crowds.

A quick rule of thumb

Search a few different weeks and compare. A shift of a few days can make a difference to the total.

Smart ways to save on MOVICH HOTELS without losing comfort

• Book direct on the official site. The site promises benefits for direct bookings.
• Use the promo code field. Enter your code before you search.
• Check the promotions page. Offers change over time.
• Be flexible with dates. A different week can lower the total.
• Compare room types. The cheapest room is not always the best for your needs.
• Check this page for codes. Offers are gathered here with their conditions.
• Copy and paste the code. It avoids typing mistakes.
• Do not book only for a discount. A deal on the wrong hotel is not a saving.

Why check SnatchSavings before you book with MOVICH HOTELS

Offers can be confusing. Some work for specific hotels, some have stay date limits and some expire quickly. SnatchSavings collects MOVICH HOTELS offers for UK travellers in one place, shows the conditions clearly and updates the page as promotions change, so you can check in a minute and get back to planning.

How to use this page well

• Start with the newest offers. Fresh deals appear near the top.
• Read the short description. It tells you what the offer covers and any visible condition.
• Click to copy the code. The store opens in a new tab, and you can paste the code at checkout.
• Confirm the saving. Compare the new total with the old one before you pay.
• Return before bigger bookings. A quick check before a longer trip is the easiest saving there is.
